Founded in 1996 in the İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone, Makro Chemical was established to meet the high-performance and sustainability needs of the flexible packaging industry. We combine the pride of being Turkey’s first manufacturer of flexible packaging adhesives with over 30 years of in-depth technical expertise and industry experience.

Today, we offer an integrated service network through our central administrative building in the İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone and our modern factory located in the İzmir Free Zone. By bringing our R&D, laboratory, production and logistics units under one roof, we develop cutting-edge solutions in lamination adhesive technologies.

First Steps and Vision
Makro Chemical was founded in Izmir with a vision to provide high-quality chemical solutions to the packaging industry. The company began its journey with its initial laboratory work and a passion for domestic production.

First Steps onto the Global Stage
The first export initiative has been launched. With shipments to European and Middle Eastern markets, Makro Chemical’s quality has transcended borders.

PolySeal Launch
The Cold Seal solution, developed to meet the sector’s needs through R&D investment, has been launched under the name PolySeal.

Export Success
It has made it into the top 100 in its sector in terms of export volume. This achievement has earned it widespread acclaim.

PolySeal Trademark Registration
The trademark registration process for the PolySeal series, one of Turkey’s first domestically developed Cold Seal technologies, has been completed. The company has consolidated its position as a ‘technical authority’ in the heat-sensitive packaging sector.

New Factory Investment
Production capacity has been increased and the R&D laboratory has been refurbished with state-of-the-art equipment. A global brand identity has been cemented through a distribution network spanning more than 40 countries.
